Success Stories

Gracie

Success Story - Gracie

Words from Gracie's new family.

Gracie (formerly named Misty) made herself at home from day one - she has only been with us since September, but it feels like she has been here for much longer, she has fit in that well.

Her BFFs are a one year old corgi, and a terrier puppy who is only slightly younger than she is. Gracie loves playing with the dogs and keeps them on their toes, in fact I suspect she might think she is a dog as well!

Her most favourite thing (apart from dinner) is plastic clothes pegs, and she will go to great lengths to get them and then bats them around the house! We are constantly finding pegs in all sorts of odd places! We are so happy to have our little Gracie grey cat!

Rocket

ROCKET IS A GO!

Going to his forever home that is. Any adoption story is a remarkable one, but what makes this one extra special is that our boy ROCKET was just shy of his 12th birthday. It is easy to be adopted as a cute, small kitten, but the older a cat gets, the harder they find it to get adopted. So, for a total senior cat like Rocket to be adopted is beyond anything we could have hoped for.

Senior cats might not be small and cute, but they are no less deserving of love, care and comfort. And if you take the time to get to know them, you’ll see that they are as sweet, affectionate and personable as any kitten.

Denny

Success Story - Denny

Denny Is Home........

While we finished off of our senior cat appreciation week on Thursday. There is one cat we are yet to talk about, DENNY. Denny is a gorgeous 5-year-old boy who has been with us for 8 months, but the reason he was not listed with our other long-term residents, is that his foster mum has decided to adopt him. That's right Denny is a foster fail! .
But in all honesty we are so happy for Denny and that he has found a loving and caring forever home .

Denny's Mumma gave him and his sister Luna a bus to play in......  His Mumma told us the story.

Denny got a job as a bus driver. Luna got in the bus. Denny did not want her in his bus so he body slammed it. Luckily he was insured lol.

Dash

Success Story - Dash

Remember little Dash? Well he's not so little anymore! (It's what having a loving home will do). Dash came to us with his sister Roxie a small and starving kitten, now he's a big gorgeous boy!

This is why having an excellent foster carer followed by a totally loving forever home is so important to a cat's life.

The little bed and blanket in one of the photos he has had since he was 4 weeks old, and he sleeps in it every day and drags the blanket and bed around to suit the sun.  How adorable.

Roxie

Success Story – Roxie

Introducing the ever-fabulous ROXIE.  Yes she knows she is fabulous, and never lets her Mumma forget it.

Roxie came to us with her brother Dash (his story is also on the page) a small and starving kitten very scared of her surroundings. Now she is a big, playful and very cuddly princess.

Roxie is actually a foster fail, but that’s just because she endeared herself too much to her foster mum for her to let Roxie go. We don’t blame her.

We couldn’t be happier for Roxie, but she is just one of many success stories in the last couple of months.

Loki (Formally Monty)

19/12/2022

Success Story – Monty/Loki

Hey folks it’s time for another success story, today it is the devilishly handsome LOKI’s turn, yes, we have another Loki in the success family.

Loki (formally Monty) has fitted seamlessly into his new home and has livened it up to no end.

He has also particularly made his brother Leo very happy, as Leo now has a fellow furry friend to play with, eat with, and cuddle with.

We wish Loki and Leo all of the continued happiness.

Porky

19/12/2022

Success Story – Shuri/Porky

Today’s success story is all about the gorgeous girl PORKY (formally Shuri). Porky came into a house with two other cats and a dog and just jumped right into the family frame.

She loves having 3 furry siblings to play with, snuggle with and of course get into mischief with. She has also totally lived up to her name, as she LOVES! food and isn’t even afraid to steal it right off your plate, so watch out !

She also loves to snuggle in the morning under the blankets.

Loki

Success Story – Lynx/Loki

This story is about the handsome, cheeky and playful LOKI (formally Lynx) who gets the spotlight.

Loki came into his forever home ready to steal everyone’s hearts and boy has he!

He has claimed all beds and couches as his sleeping/snuggle spots, has made everyone laugh while he chases after his toys, and has endeared himself to big sister Nala.

Loki couldn’t be happier in his forever home and they couldn’t be happier to have him.

Prince

19/12/2022

Success Story - Prince

Hey folks we have another success story for you to close out the week. Today it is all about his meowjesty, PRINCE.

Also known as Prince Tigger, this gorgeous ginger boy was one of our most friendliest, playful and personable kittens and he has continued that role in his forever home. He loves games, his lead training for walks and most of all cuddles.

Prince has just been the biggest ray of sunshine in his forever home, and we are so happy he and his family found each other.
