HR Recruitment Officer (Volunteer, Virtual, Home Based)
ABOUT THIS ROLE
We are seeking experienced Recruiters to attract talented volunteers to Furry Friends and maintain volunteering numbers to meet organisational needs. The Role: The HR Recruitment Officer will manage a range of tasks across the recruitment function, including but not limited to, developing position descriptions, writing job advertisements, shortlisting candidates, organising interviews, drafting interview questions, conducting reference checks and credentialing and will ensure successful on-boarding of all volunteers. The successful candidate must be able to commit to the role for a minimum of 6 months, however due to the time it takes to onboard & train volunteers we would prefer a candidate who foresee's themselves volunteering with the organisation long term. All applicants must be able to commit to a minimum 5 hours per week and be available to attend a fortnightly team meeting (over the teleconferencing platform Google Meet). Whilst working hours are flexible, responsiveness to both organisational needs as well as candidates is crucial in order to attract and recruit selected talent.
