The Home Tour Process
When a volunteer from Furry Friends has made contact with you to organise a Home Tour date and time, they will also let you know how they will be conducting the tour.
Due to FFARQ being a 100% remote rescue, our home tours may be either in person or completed via video remotely.
Both the volunteer and the fostering applicant need to use a video app on a smart phone or tablet e.g. FaceTime, Zoom or Skype.
During the tour, the Furry Friends volunteer will ask questions and complete an online form to store the information in our management system.
We ask questions about fly or security screens on windows and doors, a location for the kitties to be housed during the initial quarantine or any other question that relates to the safety of cats and kittens in your care.
At the end of the tour the Furry Friend volunteer will send you notification of the outcome and discuss any issues with you.
If you are approved as a loving foster carer with Furry Friends, you will receive an email with an agreement for signing, you can do that on your phone or computer (the instructions are in the email.)
